    WEEPINGLY BEAUTIFUL. love it

  8. Gavin, you are an excellent little draftsman! That's an artist who understands the "Mechanics" of drawing. Many adults have trouble drawing cars from angles like the Ford you drew. The things I like most about this are that you can tell it's a '37, it is an unusual style of car, a tudor convertible, the great two-tone paint and great color choices, the cool wheels, the front wheel is turned, and the stance is way too cool. You also did a great job coloring it in lightly so all the details are visible. Oh, those hood cut outs are the bomb too!
    Keep up the great work!

At milwscruffy's Shop he has a 65 Mustang Fastback Front Pillar Back section and we were thinking ( more like drinking talk lol ) combining a 65 II Body with the Stang Roof Section lol ... a quick drawing i did awhile back and a photoshop version the same time.

Thanks for the kind words. This is just marker, colored pencil and some ink. The background was all I have added so for digitally. I need to clean it up and finish it off with some shadows, highlights and remove some dirt specs. I thought I had seen some incomplete stuff here. In fact, I know someone who starts with a "T" and ends in "odd" puts stuff up as he is working on it and is greatly appreciated by me. (speaking of which, I am Jonesing for some more car stuff.)

Thanks for the compliment Chevy II. That could be interesting. Kind of like the brown better. This piece is actually for a model mag. I got the idea after everyone complained about the window hieght, then I made my 62 a convert and somehow the top ended up on top of the Duece. I ran with it. You can see how long ago it happened as those were new Vette wheels at the time!

Great stuff so far. I think there are a couple regulars that still need to post to make this FAS equipted.

i know whe have been following the events in Japan the last day or so - We have a lot of Brothers and Sisters that are really facing some scary shit - Tsunamies - Earthquakes - Buildongs falling ouf of the sky - Very limited communications - Some real screwed up deals - amd Its going to last awhile
At least stop a say a word for them if not find a way to send cash their way - It's going to be a long recovery,

I have a question for any of the folks who do shirt designs for car clubs out there.
What is the cost for some of these designs? 2 or 3 color?
I am tired of half arsed attempts at club shirts that don't sell for years.

PM me if you don't want to discuss pricing on the forum

    Thanks

  24. one of Buick59s awesome pieces of a florida 55 - mounted, framed & hanging proudly in my house now. his work is really cool.

my daughter's view of me and my little champ pickup this week - i think she captured my excitement once my new rear tires were mounted and we snuck out for a 'test' run around the block

last, change in medium for her. self-portrait sitting on the bed rail

    she'll be 5 this month
