It looked pretty rad at the WoW.

 

THanx! I thought of doin something similar w the angled bar but wasnt too sure of the outcome.

Ive seen pics of it from WoW. Was the gasser theme the final goal?
i think it woud be awesme lowered w/ diffrent headers and wheels, but its just personal opinion, its a great build anyway.

I don't get the maybe lowrider or custom but not a coupe comment...I thought being low to the ground makes a car a lowrider? Is definately a coupe! Its definately a hot rod and definately a custom!
Little research into history you would see that the custom/hotrod world created this type of paint job in the 60s but the lowrider crowd kept it alive ever since!

Chris the funny thing is..4 years ago they would love the interior and would be bitching about the shiny paintjob not being rattle can primer!

the dash is outta a chevy coupe i think 33 0r 34 my buddy the owner picked it up for like $5 at a swap

Incredibly talented painter, as the both the panels and colors just pop. I would love to see it in person!

The car is awesome. Can't wait to see it with the upholsery.

I'm not sure about the headers. I'd like to see some shiney coated headers on there but I'm not sure about the style of these headers on this car.....

Dash is a 1934 Chevy Master. I see it is missing those 3 little center dash pieces. Those can be hard to come by but I suppose you could make your own. Cool car.

 

Love that paint its totally killer. Car has a good feel to it all around very nice work.

 

I'm in agreement with the headers... Have you guys ever heard of "weed burner" headers? The pipes never form into a single wide opening like modern headers do. They resemble a running board style that is just way too cool! And they are definately "period" for the early 60's. I have an old set of these headers in my garage that I had to modify to get steering clearance on my coupe. Think of Norm Grabowski's T and the cool individual pipes he had, some of the coupes I've seen with these headers that continue underneith the chassis and come straight out the back of the car with eight pipes showing... FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!

 

When this thread first came up the pics didn't last long..Bandwidth exceeded.

I see they work again maybe someone that didn't get to see this paintwork will get a chance now.
