They are two piece and some filler. I roll both edges of each part through a bead roller and run the edge through a shrinker. It makes a nice roll on the inside and is easy to weld and putty. The tough part is the 1 1/2" draw on the rear section where it needs to make room for the tank. I just cut a slice and rolled the edges in at the slice and filled it in with some scrap.

The door skin is kinda on....it will be made in two pieces. I junked the first skin. I will rough in the big panels and tack, screw then on and pull a line down them for the style lines etc... ................Getting frustrated

    Exactly what he said.

I've gotten so disgusted with a project before that I had to let it set for a couple of months before I could even think about picking it up again.

When I was building that chassis I did for my 36, I fought with the bottom main tubes so much that when I got them close, I just threw up my hands and walked away. It sat like that, with just the four main rails bent up and tacked in place for over a month before I could stand to look at it again.

If it's pissing you off, take a break. Build a birdhouse or something, or go chase women, whatever.

I started building an english wheel when the chassis pissed me off.

Ironically, I went back to work on the chassis when the english wheel pissed me off . . .

I just got both door skins roughed in and thinking rear quarter panels. I will be happy when all the big stuff is looking OK and can start to weld and grind. Tired of thinking.........it hurts

Working on some wood stations for the rear quarters. Made a polly templet off another car to help with the shape. Still at it!
