  7. My 1941 Plymouth PT125 pickup. Has a '58 Plymouth 230 flattie Six with the stock four speed and 4.10 rear gears! Definitely a head-turner, and fun to kick around in.

  9. So, I guess everybody just needs to drive these old Mopars to
Joplin for the HAMB drags - then have our own special (deluxe) meeting.

Now dont get me wrong, I'm definitely not into Rat rods, and further more, I dont know if this is/was even a real police car...(did they put the town names on PD cars back then?) but I saw it on evilbay, and couln't help thinking to myself... My god, how f'in sweet would that car be, left absolutely stock, black walls/ dime caps and all, but given a good cleaning, and slammed to the ground. Perhaps i'm just crazy, but i think it be badass. :D

Quoting..."No offense to Glendale and those alike, but NEVER EVER is it acceptable to use a chevy motor, or ford in a Mopar and be a Mopar person. Doesn't make you any less of a rodder, but for the sake of the rest of us, keep the hood shut(period)."

I'm in with my 47 coupe, rockin the ford 9" rear, 283 chev w/a 350 Turbo.....And "no hood" PERIOD. Don't get me wrong I plan to drop a 440 in it when time and money allow...but I got no problem at all rockin out just like it is!
