Hot Rods "The Texas Playboy"... '32 Ford Street Roadster...1959 style.

Yesterday I drove the roadster over to Market Hall here in Dallas and got it set up on display at the Dallas Autorama for the weekend.

So if you are local to Dallas and want to take a peek at the car it's over there. I'll snap a photo of the display later...I tried to do a 'period correct' display to match the car.

I saw the Playboy at the Autorama yesterday and all I can say is WOW! I love the dash. Great work buddy and I love the set of slicks at the back corner and the winner’s memorabilia. Are those off your coupe????

This is gorgeous, had to post. The interior and dash are stunning.

 

My part is finally done, and the car went back to Bass Kustoms headquarters today. I was kinda rushed with the pics- There wasn't any time to take under construction pics before GNRS, I didn't have time to take all the detail shots I wanted in the end, and I completely forgot to take any of the trunk, but here's a few that I did manage to take...

 

in that last pic it looks like you upholstered the dash. i thought why did he do that? then i took a closer look and it the refection of the seat haha

Sean... it's all amazing... BUT, the detail on the floormat and rubber pedal piece with the piping and binding is over the top!

 

^yeah that's what does it for me. The car as a whole is awesome but when you get down to the fine details it's just over the top.

You have out done yourself with this one......"The texas Playboy" is my new favorite 32 roadster.....This car just about beats any show rod from the late 50's-60's I have seen..(in my opinion).....Very well thought out and nicely done....

 

Brian, may we have pics of the trunk as well? I'm sure it is over the top.
