Hey HAMB'ers, I'm AJ your latest newbie. Only 26, but been at this for awhile. Proud owner of a '64 falcon sprint (gasser), and my newest basket case, a '37 Chevy coupe. Recent builds I've had a hand in would include a '51 Ford p/u, a '41 Willys CJ2a roadster, and 75% done on a '39 Plymouth. My dad and I still build a car each year, and have never sold one.... Hoping to enjoy my stay here!
Thanks guys! I could get a pic or two, they're in the barn now but if I get a chance should I post them here?? I know I've got a pic of the Willys, and the '51 ford p/u at a few shows this last year...
This is me at a local show. The tire shop on the door was my grandpa's and the old 4 digit phone number.. The willy's is just to the left, and the guy with the beard is my dad. Another pic from the front.. Ford is an old circle track 302 with a manual shift FMX, that we added a tunnel ram to, and the Willys is a 514 Ford stroker with a C6. Runs a 9" with a short 4 link, and 514 gears with an eaton posi. She screams pretty good Other than gassers I've always had a thing for the dirt track look, that's where the 18" wide mickey's came into play on the front of the Ford. Has surprisingly good road manners for not having power steering, or brakes. LMK what you guys think..
