Ya I made it up to winterport four times this past season for the gassah guys events. By far the most fun you can have racing. I see that lebanon valley is NHRA, will they let old style cages run the 1/8th there?

Here ya go: 2011 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series schedule The NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series consists of two nitro categories, Nostalgia Top Fuel dragsters and Nostalgia Funny Cars, and two groups of additional classes. Group 1 includes Jr. Fuel, A/Fuel, AA/Gas, and 7.0 Pro, and Group 2 includes NE I, NE II, NE III, A/Gas, B/Gas, C/Gas, D/Gas, and Hot Rod. Each class will run a combination of events at which drivers will score points toward the championship. The NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series was developed in 2008 to help preserve NHRA's rich history and tradition while providing racing opportunities for those enthusiasts who enjoy nostalgia drag racing competition. Winterport Dragway in Maine, Gassah Guys event is next weekend the 17th and 18th of June. This place is right out of the 60s, no grandstands no concession building no permanent bathrooms etc. This place is the most fun you can have racing. Everyone is really laid back, and the tech is very "forgiving". If you can keep your car cool you can literally run as many times as you want. Its a 5+ hour ride for me and its absolutely worth it.

Nostalgia SummerNationals/Old Time Drags/Funny Car Reunion on Sunday July 24th at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park's 1/4 mile drag strip in Englishtown, NJ. Also keep in mind that the Saturday evening July 23rd, before Sunday's Nost SummerNats, the track will have their nostalgia themed "The Digs At Etown" happening at their 1/8th mile track. Just about every imaginable form of nostalgia drag racing machinery will be on the property for the 32nd Annual Nost SummerNats-- Diggers, Funny Cars, Altereds.
