  3. Yeah just about as cool for me as it gets. Door handles and fuel.
    I should have been out at the drags but I was too engrossed in my tonka toys
    and hot wheels. I'll just have to imagine how sideways this car got. :)

    What engine was in that Bel air? I remember hearing it was a hot 327 but I cant say for sure.

    Falfa's 55 had a L88 427. Yea that was wrong for 1962 but that was how the car was built for 2-Lane Blacktop. It originally had a tunnel ram and actually ran high 10s at the strip before filming of 2-Lane Blacktop.
