I drove my convert, it was only 600 miles but I drove it, in the rain and snow and ice. There was a whole bunch from Colorado that did it in a blizzard a few years ago.

I'm gonna do it again next year in my 47 Chevy. I'll meet you on I80 in Ill. near Chicago and we will caravan to Detroit City.

    Thanks man!

I know, I was looking at some other threads thinking, "where was that car?"

    You too, thanks!

No sweat, who cares what some judge thinks, the car is amazing! You can't explain "cool" to squares!

Likewise, Dave. Good luck with your project, keep me in the loop!

    Thanks for the lift Steve!

Thanks Mark, it was a WET ride home, haha!:D

You too, thanks for stopping by, always good to put a face with a name!

This was the second Autorama I've been to, and I just loved it. Cars were awesome, and the crowd was huge.

Sure hope that you can come out this way next year. I need your help getting a couple of those old farts that live near you to bring their rods too.

Remember, it's the 80th Anniv of the Deuce in 2012!

Great to meet you and Fedcospeed at the meet & greet. Glad you made it home all right. We saw a few cars in the ditch on the 401 past Windsor so you were probably better to travel through the rain than snow.
I'm gonna try and make it down to Hamburg this coming weekend.

  16. It was great to meet you and was a treat to see your car in person. I've admired online a number of times. Look forward to seeing again next year if not sooner.

My '34 should be on the road by the time the snows gone.

I hope to have the deuce downstairs next year for the 80th anniversary. We'll see...

  17. Thanks for the pictures Andy. I went a few years ago but didn't know too many people, but I did have a great time. Looking at the pictures, I wish I would have went this year.

I'll try not to miss the next one!

Andy, Great to see you again, and thanks for the kind words! That thing would still be in my garage covered up with "stuff" if it wasn't for Junior, Clark, Larry, and the more of the Central Pa. friends, see you in May, bring many quarters for the car wash on the ride home!!!

Andy - funny - I recognize your car now that I see it on the Hamb after seeing it in the basement! Your car was one of my favorite there dude. I wouldn't change a thing.

Glad you enjoyed your stay in Detroit. Hope you make it back next year.
