Nothing says "Love" like car parts

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 59IMPALER, Feb 26, 2011.

  1. When it's Christmas ,or my birthday, my family knows that nothing says "love" like car parts. Last Christmas, my wife got me new rocker trim for the '53. My Mom got me a new horn ring emblem and rocker clips. Past presents from my Wife and family have included : Having bumpers rechromed. Dash pad, fender rockets, side veiw mirror, and WWWs for the '59. Anyone else lucky enough to have a family like this, or does everyone else get socks and underwear?

Same thing here! I was getting impala models, impala shirts etc etc, and my car was coming together slowly. My family started buying parts , clips, window rubber and suspension parts. Family is great

Back in 2000, my girlfriend got me a leather tool pouch and chrome luggage rack for my new Harley. We've been married 11 years now.

Wife bought me aerostar springs to lower my mercury for christmas - any special ocassion I tell my wife and kids to forget socks and slippers and let me order something for the car!

Doesn't always work out though - my sister bought me an awful blue spangled licence plate which was justa awful - nailed it to the wall of the garage - she will be gutted when its not on the motor but it was terrible!
