It had a tripower 283 when I got it, but it was already yellow. I think it was built in California in the mid-90s. I got it from a guy in Arizona and moved it to New Mexico. I think its now in the Denver area.
It really was a blast to drive. It reminded me of the old diggers just smoking the tires the entire time it was more than 3/4 throttle.
How about a franklin quick change, and a round 10 gal. spun alum. gas tank in the trunk. the reason i asked,it sure looks like the one i did in the 90's kinda east coast style, with a 3" chop and a 7" in the front and 4" channel in the rear.
I spaced the body up in the back to give it a rake to the deep channel. It ran a squared tank. I got it with a '57 Chevy rear, I replaced it with a Currie unit.
This one had a 460 out of an old Lincoln in it. I sold it this last winter, but it had plenty of power. It was just a big, heavy motor.
468 Olds with a Quick change were a couple of the features on this car... After paint and before paint the Olds looked right at home in that little Roadster. Some more before and after shots and a photo with the three Roadsters all with Big Blocks and nothing smaller than a 440!
Keep em comin! I want to build an a and have three motors in my stash to pick from. A 383 sbc, 360fe, or a 429. Pretty much have ruled out the 383.
I do not have any pictures besides mock up, but I plan on putting a 500 CI Cadillac in my Model A coupe...Should be fun...
