I just recently picked up this 54 Bel Air from a friend of mine. The car is totally rust free and is pretty complete. The trim that is not on the car is inside. Last Saturday I was able to start it for about 3 seconds. I will probably be asking a lot of questions along the way so please bear with me.

By the way, someone bolted the hood and decklid emblems on upside down.

Very cool. Looks like a ton of '54's are making their way back out into the streets. Love it!!!

I am going to keep the 235 and 3 speed. For now I just wanna get it road worthy and drive it around as I work on finishing it. I am planning on building it as a mild custom. As I said, I have been around motorcycles all my life but I amm new to this whole car thing. So I will probably be asking questions along the way.

Rodders did that in the fifties to be "different".
