Well ive been busting but on a 29 tudor project the last month and a half or two and finally got it mostly buttoned up and driving, i bought it as a unfinished project from my buddy Joel who had it drivng a few years ago and took it apart to start on the body work, he got side tracked and took a few parts off of it for another project and i had talked to him about buying it for a while.

When i got the car home i didnt really like the firewall front floor treatment plus the subrails up front needed some tlc, so i tore all that stuff out and started fresh, got all that done then it was time for bodywork.

My buddy Eric (thirtytwo) has been unemployed for a bit so i asked him if he wanted to come up and earn some cash to help out with body work, i love body work (not really) and he said sure, so he was here for about 5 days as we thrashed on the body, it turned out pretty good, i put a few runs in it but im no professional, by the time i got to the drivers side i got use to the paint, its valspar tractor enamal from fleet farm, it actually seems like decent stuff.

so the next few weeks i busted but on the car getting the running gear put together for it, finished the narrowed 39 merc dash, doing the body work and paint work on the fenders, dash and garnish mouldings, putting glass in it, wiring it, etc etc.

Then it was time for some Upholstery work, as some of you know my wife does upholstery, (stichbitch) so i just drive it up the drive to her garage and she did her magic, she did the top, running board covers, front seat and a awsome rear toneau, it all turned out great, im still gonna have her do more of the interior but that all she had time for at the moment.

So weds last week we had a nice day (40 dagrees) and i decide it would be ok to take it for a drive, it drove awsome, no rattles, the motor seems to run good, trans worked good, brakes worked good etc etc, all in all im very happy with how it drives.

I still plan on building a hood for it, at least a hood top.

I dont have any real good shots of the dash, but heres one, i have to pull the steering wheel to detail it so when i do that im gonna take a good pick of the dash.

Jeff, You and your wife sure have one neat "A" Hot Rod ! I'm thinking a hood top is the finishing touch you need.
