    This one always tickles me:
when you convert "three on the tree" to a floor shift, it is now
    "Three by the Knee"....

Donk in the US is a ridiculous car with huge wheels, driven by 'urban doper types'.

Do a web search for a laugh.

I knew an old guy who called his engine compartment the ranch. I finally asked why and he said "because that is where i keep all my horses" I have been using it ever since.

"Q-ship" "Raped ape" Q-ship a term for a sleeper or a luxury car with some nuts to it. Like the Riv for instance.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, would it essentially be like seeing a top of the line '59 Cadillac with a built up engine and a floor shift?!

Here you go KustomRocket88. Q-ships, also known as Q-boats, Decoy Vessels, Special Service Ships or Mystery Ships, were heavily armed merchant ships with concealed weaponry, designed to lure submarines into making surface attacks. This gave Q-ships the chance to open fire and sink them. The basic ethos of every Q-ship was to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Power brakin' it, yet I see some folks call it a brake stand, but that don't sound right.

Chirpin' broadies- funnier to hear my not so mechanically inclined friend say that than to repeat myself.

Pullin' a Rockford Files. Honestly I don't know what the technical term may be for it, but it sure is fun as hell.

Candy canes, JJ's....yea! FASTRNU-I did splatter a saginaw 4 spd with a carload of buddies while executing this manuever. Shoulda made the fat girls get out. HA!

Flame Wrench, or Blue Tip Wrench = Oxy Acetlylene cutting torch

Gowed up, add more Gow = Build the engine for more power

BMFH = Big Mother ******* Hammer

May Pop = questionably buit engine

Short Fuse = engine built for absolute maximum output

Cut the Fuse too Short = engine blew before the race was over

One Way Special = Car or Builder known for cutting the fuse too short

Sheep Herd = poor driving (look at that fool sheep herd it down the road)

Scatter = Have the major parts exit whatever mechanical assembly they came from

Hang a Blanket Behind it = statement of no confidence in some mechanical assembly usually engine, but can be other, ie stock trans from a 4 popper with a rat transplant

Hang a Magnet from the Back Bumper = see abbove

Cruising the Gut = Cruising your preferred area

Main Drag = Your prefered cruisng area or the main street of the town, if that's your favorite place
