    Being a Chevy guy I have aquestion.
    I love this car & did a search & there are 2 on ebay right now. both are 427's with 4 speeds as this one is but, this one here is an XL what is the difference?

    I like the honesty of the guy, about what a barge it is and what bad brakes, but he still loves it. I think that says it all about the hobby, it's not about being the fastest or the shiniest...

    Last week on American Pickers Mike stumbled across a black 63 427 sitting in a barn. The owner wouldn't sell. Nice film thanks for sharing.

  24. The "XL 500" was the top of the line Ford. Bucket seats, center console, all the extra trim etc.

    Great post. Love those fastback Fords.

  27. Now that was a great video. Love the story about the car's history. It's tough to beat the sound of a solid-lifter FE.
    These things would pin you in the seat under hard acceleration.
