My 27-T is "MOTHERS NIGHTMARE",mom always suffered from nightmares, waking up screaming. Several times she told me her dream was of me getting killed in my hot rod. My 47 is "HOT RUBY",because she is ruby red, and her 286" flathead runs hot. There is a small painting of Jessica Rabbit in a mini skirt and blond hair on the rear deck lid. My 32 roadster is soon to be lettered "TELEGRAPH TERROR". Its just a mean looking deuce with a 392 hemi, slicks, locked rear axle, and black paint job. Back in the late 50's early 60's the girl across the street from us,painted names on many Dearborn cars.

My 32 is the " Black Rose ", found a sticker with the same name and it kinda suited the car.

Hmmm?? Does a phrase count as name?
Years ago, I had a lightly hopped-up and
mildly customized '68 Corvair Monza 'daily
driver'. When I had the body & paint and
pinstriping done; I got the pinstriper to paint
the phrase "Poor Man's Porsche!" in nice
'script-style' lettering across the back of the
'68 Z/28 Camaro rear spoiler I had on the rear
    deck lid. :)

And this is my Super, I think since it's going to have a lot of Roadmaster parts I'm going to call it the Buick Supermaster:

  10. that's funny. Matt Hotch, the custom Bike builder (Hot Match Custom Cycles) nicknamed me "Two Weeks" for kind of the same reason on stuff I was building for him.

(Sorry some of these are large, resizing doesn't seem to work)

Our bus is called Brew, because it's an old Brewster bus, and because many a brewski was consumed during her restoration!

Dad named my 52 Dodge truck RAT when I was about 2 in 1985, why you might ask? It has nothing to do with rat rods or anything like that, that name was mostly only heard used on Rat bikes back then... he named it RAT because he had chrome letters that fit the holes in the hood, and the only thing they could spell was RAT... LOL (a few years back it was being used on a tv series so I put a set of Dodge tags back on)

My brothers 57 Mercury M100 is named Murry, because some of the hood letters had fallen off by the time he got it, so it said MER__RY (I never corrected him and told him that actually spells merry)

Gave my sis in law a 70 Datsun 520 and she named it Sunny, not sure why because it's black, but she loves it.

Call my 31 Pontiac "The Yak"

We call my 59 Suburban limo "The Hugeness" LOL

And our 57 Chevrolet crane is called "Dangly Parts" and if you know the reference you win one free internet!
