Hey Doc, Back in the day was El Mirage 1948-49. Owner was Manuel Butkie, Driver was Don Corwin. Aerodynamically inspired design is a '27 T flathead roadster turned around on its chassis. Gotta love home built solutions to radically good ideas.

  10. Every week I am impressed by the variety of artwork displayed on the FAS!
I finally finished a sign I had started the end of last year. Early Ford Motor Co logo 18" x 22"

Not only is the composition of this piece great...but trying to capture a night time scene is not the easiest thing to do...matter of fact, it's damned hard to get it to look correct. Nice job...

    What's the medium...???

I'm stoked to see the finished coloring book! It's an honor to be included in this list of such fine artists!

For those of you that missed lasts year's Torque Fest... don't make that mistake again this year! (April 29th-30th - Maquoketa, Iowa).

Great cars! Great music! and of course... GREAT ART!

Really love your surrealist dream of a pic here, Travis. I mean, they're all great pics (and one of the numerous reasons I'm not even gonna try to post anything of mine up here ) But this one really taps into my surrealist psyche :D

    Great pics!

OK here's one from me. I was not sure it would get done for the FAS as I had planned on doing more to the painting but the painting was telling me to stop. So I stopped. 8"X16". Acrylic on canvas board. I also didn't know anything about the coloring book.

  24. Here's a watercolor I did a bit ago. Reference is an old Hot Wheels car kids played with about thirty-five years ago.

Thanks! You folk are giving me a much bigger head than I deserve. Hopefully I can find some eye pleasing angles at the Starbird show in Tulsa this weekend.

My Lord, you boys & girls have once again blown the lid off the show!

I can't wait to see all of the Little Honker pieces in person next week! They are ALL extraordinary.

Hope to see everybody in Detroit.
