  6. Thanks fellas keep'em coming.... Hey Tommy you hit it right on the nose brotha thats the one i was lookin at too... @ Plymouth 52 i was planning on chopping it maybe 2" and radious the b pilard so it would flow with the roof line and doing a watson style panel paint job with some patterns and maybe a laced roof with multipul colors, bagged or hydraulics with a set of astro supreme's or zenith wire wheels, bellflowers pipes, Etc...

Not bad for $550. Ha? Plenty of money left over to play with....

When I was in high school, one of the guys a couple of years older than me bought a '59 Bel Air two door post with a 335 horse 348 and a 4-speed. It was black with the area in the side trim white and had the factory full wheelcovers. What a sweet car. Very clean and simple. Better than any Impala in my book.:)

I saw him at my 50 year HS reunion last fall (he married a girl in my class). We got to talking about that car, and he said the dumbest mistake he ever made was to sell it.

OK couple more. Not 2-doors, but you'll get the idea.

  18. Does anyone on here know how much shorter the roof is on the hardtop and convertibles then the post sedans cars? Thinking of just chopping the roof down to maybe fit a hardtop front windsheild.

  19. Man I love those post cars!
