Well after almost a year of collectiong parts (and money) Ive got the next project off the ground...... This is what I started with last April
Ive since had a Kiwi Konnection chassis built for it, narrowed up a nine inch and bought a superbell axle and brakes, pete and jakes ladder bar kit, steel hood , steel fenders, running boards and a nearly mint grill shell. Heres where im at today....
Lookin' good! Are you planning on chopping it? Fenders, or not, those trucks make great looking hot rods. Malcolm
No chop, full fenders, bed was shortened in the 70s. I'll post more pics as I get time to work on it....
YEAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! NOT Chopped, NOT Channeled, NOT less than 3 FEET high! AWESOME- ANDDD FENDERS!!! THANK YOU for not following the pack. Love it! Looks like a REAL car- not a CARTOON!
Exactly what i thought !!! Awesome build. But now you have to loose intersted in the pick-up and sell it to me!!!! Michael
looking forward to pics of your progresson looks like the direction i want my dad to take with his 34 pickup gotta bring him up to speed with "cool" haha
Well its been a minute since ive actually had the time or the money to work on my truck but........ I found a way nicer cab with two hung and latching doors, so ive since shitcanned the other cab and swapped em over......
I had the chance to get a shot of the fleet before i had to break em up....... 33, 34, and 35 ford pickups.... you cant keep em all
here's the most recent shot, after about 6 months of picking away at hanging all the sheetmetal and final mockup. And finally got the motor together and running. Its taken me 4 years to get this far and i cant wait to get it on the road!!!!
