Finally got around to the new pickup project

    Well after almost a year of collectiong parts (and money) Ive got the next project off the ground......

    Ive since had a Kiwi Konnection chassis built for it, narrowed up a nine inch and bought a superbell axle and brakes, pete and jakes ladder bar kit, steel hood , steel fenders, running boards and a nearly mint grill shell. Heres where im at today....

    Lookin' good! Are you planning on chopping it? Fenders, or not, those trucks make great looking hot rods.

    No chop,full fenders, bed was shortened in the 70s. I'll post more pics as I get time to work on it....

    YEAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! NOT Chopped, NOT Channeled, NOT less than 3 FEET high! AWESOME- ANDDD FENDERS!!! THANK YOU for not following the pack. Love it! Looks like a REAL car- not a CARTOON!

    Well its been a minute since ive actually had the time or the money to work on my truck but........ I found a way nicer cab with two hung and latching doors, so ive since shitcanned the other cab and swapped em over......[​IMG]

    I had the chance to get a shot of the fleet before i had to break em up....... 33, 34, and 35 ford pickups.... you cant keep em all

    here's the most recent shot, after about 6 months of picking away at hanging all the sheetmetal and final mockup. And finally got the motor together and running. Its taken me 4 years to get this far and i cant wait to get it on the road!!!!

    like i said, its taken me 4 years.... turns out early ford sheet metal is hard to find...
