is anyone going to the Conroe swap meet this next weekend??

Conroes swapmeet is being help next week February 18-20th. Is anyone going?? what are some of you taking there?

 

Haven't missed a CONROE swap meet in about 17 years. DD

 

My Dad and I will be there. We are bringing a 30 Tudor Sedan body, a 30 Coupe cowl,and a ton of Model A and V8 stuff. It should be a pretty good meet.

 

We will be there with model A stuff, 41 Ford sedan. Always a good meet.

 

I plan on being there with some model A stuff. A 30 A pickup cab. A few things here and there. Some old porcelain signs. Who else is going?

 

Can anyone post a flyer with dates and location?

I havent been in a few years but it was a damn good one when I last went. I am a few hours away but I am planning to make the drive and find a hotel so I can look around for two days.

 

I should be there milling around.

? I know I am taking a wierd banjo wheel. A 38-39 ford pickup hood. Model A cab. Model A tudor body. and some old signs. with a few other odds and ends... I know more people bound to be going

A buddy of mine asked if I wanted to go, he makes it every year. Looks like I should, if so I'll wear my HAMB shirt.

 

62falcn -it usually takes around 2-3 hours or so for me to walk thru. One of my favorites.

 

Is it good on Friday? I was thinking about driving down and try to find some parts for my roadster project.

 

been going since they started-when rattlers couldn't wait to get fat off fresh hot rodders.
used to be lots of old stuff, now its kinda gone to the used speed stuff and lots of leftovers from rod builds.

I just got done loading the trailer. I will be there tomorrow. Looks like its going to be in the 70's with no chance of rain.

I went Friday and made some supers deals...cashed another check and went back saturday...found some supers deals again....met up with some hambers....looking forward to next one......my thoughts are " a bad swapmeet is better than a good day at work any day"...

 

We went there today, couldn't make it there Friday or Saturday due to work and other commitments. I didn't buy anything but my buddy bought a nice 4 post car lift!!!
