Hey all. The name's Rob and I'm currently doing a '61 Caddy short deck restoration. I've been around the net a bit and happened upon this place in search of kindred spirit and that ever-elusive answer. I look forward to checking out some of the projects that you all are working on. I will post progress pics of mine in an album as I have time. I'm a lowrider kinda guy who happens to enjoy a little bit of good old American muscle and I'm sure a few of you can relate.

It's nice to meet you folks and I hope to make a few friends during my stay! Smell ya later! :D

Nice to meet you and I appreciate the compliments! :) She's in a million pieces right now. Just about to pull the body off and start the rebuild and the engine is already done. It will be tweaked, bagged, and dragged all over this mf! I haven't had this much fun with a car in forever.

Haha, I hope so. It's not going to be a hydro hopper or anything. Some of those can be pretty over the top for my taste. I just love how the body lines look when brought down to earth a few inches. Doesn't hurt to have that 390 either! I'm loving all the beautiful engines being flaunted here.
