Went to look at a '57 F100 in B.F.E. I had my eyes on. Man, I hate it when someone says their car is a "daily driver" and its not. This truck had no exhaust past the manifold and he says, "I drive it like that..."

    What a waste of time...

I didn't do much myself, but did make a down payment to my friend who is rebuilding a rear end for my modified project. I'm hoping to have all the parts I need to make it a roller in the near future.

Worked over time Saturday and started reassembling the T-Bucket today. I got the front and rear suspension mounted up and the brake lines reinstalled.

Ha ha! I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice that. I'm half way through with ditching the '40 headlights in favor of '39s. I couldn't find a '39 Tudor so I'm making the '40 into one.

I wish the Thruxton was mine. It belongs to a buddy. I'm thinking of selling the buggy to get one. I've owned two Triumph Speed Triples and loved them both.

  19. Spent some quality time with Pratt & Whitney and Bridgeport. Starred intently at my Syncrowave and fondled some Brown & Sharp and a few Starrets.

Got the steering rack mounted in the '57 Nash, as well as the tilt column. Even though its for sale here, it's fun to work on.
Went to two car shows and relaxed some.

sold my body rotisserie on Friday and re-decorated my shop to give me more room to play.

went to replace the idler arm bushing on my 61 Dodge but the one I got looks nothing like what is (hopefully) going to come out of the original, so I put it all back together with new cotter pins since the Dodge is now my driver and I can't have it down while I search for correct parts.

then I polished some of the rust off the trunk... the old wreck should polish up pretty good. I'm hoping to go from a 30 footer to a 10 footer.

spent the rest of the weekend trying to find a late model truck without issues. got 5 g's to spend on a "late model" and can't find one that is worth a shit.

finally got my frame all finish welded and ground down on the 53 project. sanded some mud to get it all smoothed out and spread on some more.
Cleaned the garage and put some spare parts on CL to fund getting my seats redone

    Not enough.

Still working on "Project %#%^@# Falcon".

I did get the lights wired up, all but one headlight that is. I ordered new sockets from NAPA and only one showed up! :)

Put a couple hundred miles on the new WWW and headed up to the Autorama for the day.

We had been thrashing on 4 cars for the last month to make them look half way decent. It was nice to take a break and just cruise.
