Today was a seriously crud day at work. I am sitting there near the end of the day going WTF am I DOING here? I get home and there is a box on my doorstep. I had a wanted ad for some finned valve covers running seems like forever here on the HAMB in the wanted section. I got an email response from partschaser here a while back that he had a decent set with a finned air cleaner for sale at a good price for average condition parts. He has a low post count and so at first I was dubious. He willingly sent good phone numberes and such, so I sent him a check last week. I expected him to sit on thecheck for at least aonther week and then ship, so the stuff would get here in 2-3 more weeks. The box contained a SWEET set of covers and a nice finned aircleaner. PERFECT SHAPE!!!!! I'll post pictures later. They are fargin GEORGOUS!!!!! PICTURES BELOW!!! I HIGHLY reccommend Ron (partschaser) if you are thinking aabout buying anything form him. Super! With this winter we all need something to give us a smile, at least around here. Good day here too, got my Alliance tag finally. No wonder the Post Office is going broke, who wants to use a delivery service that takes 9 days to get an envelope from Texas to New Hampshire. So sometimes I have found HAMB transactions are in fact going well but it seems like watching a rock move due to circumstances outside either the buyer or seller's control.
everyone has to start out on here as a FNG, but that doesn't say anything about a guy or gals character, there are alot of outstanding people on this fine board. This was a fine example of that. Rock on!!!!
Might be disrespectful to ask, but how much did you give for them? Id like to add a set to my wish list, just wonder what to expect when I go looking for a set.
