Sweet ride. Aero's are nice with the factory chop more than the
    Coupes.

Drove one with a 454 in it for a few years. Have posted pics here
    In the past.

Sold it and doing a 30 fendered coupe with a nailhead now. Strange world.

Enjoy the ride, they are great.

  7. Awesome looking Aerosedan!

  8. Could you elaborate a little more on where to find 'cliffords website'? I'm seriously considering going with a dual carb/split manifold setup on the ol' 216 to give it a little more power.

    Thanks.

Hey thanks fellas, I was thinking to keep the 235 if it goes alright in such a big car although I do have a 392 HEMI in the corner of the shed that needs a home. Anyone know if you could shoehorn an early HEMI into one of these things?

I could go with a really cool period looking SBC but it's been done to death. Seriously has anyone fitted a 331-392 into a 42-48 Chevy? Or should I just shut up and stick with the stovebolt. This thing definately going to be a traditional ride either way.

If the HEMI idea is unsuccessful, a period dressed tri-power 283 would be just nice!!

Either way, grouse Coupe...... Soon it may even be accompanied by an older cousin of hers on the Wilmington docks....;) ssshhhhh.

The Aero has landed, and she's a peach!

Picked her up a week ago and have taken her for a ride a few times now. She has split headers already, with dual exhaust and pencil tips. Those glasspacks have a nasty rap to them! Snap, crack & pop!

Thanks for all the cool advice and wonderful comments.

Congratulations on the Aerosedan! I have a similar story. I traded My 29 A for an 47 Aero lol. I never got to do much with it because it was totaled by a lady in a 2500 crewcab diesel. I hope you fare better bud! I still need another one someday soon. I need a taildragger in the worst way. Have fun with it.
