  4. Been following this thread for a while, it has inspired me to restore one.
So it began simply enough, until my old man decided we could build one from scratch.
So with a bunch of sheets, rod and straps of steel and some store purchased wheels we had everything we needed.
We designed it to be pushed or pulled while my boy is young (he has just turned 1) then when he is older the floor pan can be removed, and has a mechanical pedal operation copied from a mates original 50's one.
the headlights and taillights are surplus turn signal bezels from my Falcon as is the badge used for a grill. It has a functioning trunk and tow-bar also.

Here is how it turned out, still may need some hubcaps and pin-striping.

The little one is in love with it,
If you have any questions, im happy to answer.
    Cheers Kyle.

I'm normally a lurker....but I'm in the planning phase of building one of these for my 1yr old and have a couple questions. I'm trying to decide if I want a pull behind or a push, whatcha think? How well does the rear fixed handle actually work to steer it? I have a plastic trike for her with a fixed handle and it doesnt seem to work too well?

    Love that picture!

If you still have it I have the parts to restore it. I see it is missing the windshield and one of the front bumper guards.
I see yours is an electric version like this 1966 in this video that explains why they are so rare today

the push strollers we make are very strong we use 7/8" 120 wall DOM tubung for the handle bar.... if its a push then its a stroller and allowed in most parts if its a pull then is a wagon.... when your kids is yong and small the push is nicer cause your child is in front of ou and you can watch them....

Won this in a raffle last year at the Igniters show in Libby Mon. Had to mod it.............. first shot at a flame job and pinstriping, or any paint job for that matter, gonna drop it next, leaning towards a tail dragger, we'll see.

Not hamb friendly but here is my latest addition.
1971-73 Mustang JR that will be either gas or electric powered. It is 3/8 scale so much larger than a standard pedal car. And yes a mini Eleanor from the 1974 edition of Gone in 60 seconds is already in the works.

Of course the Divco is a little more hamb friendly and is also a large size so even adults can fit.
