Took a day off work last week and decided to give my little cruiser an upgrade. H.A.M.B. member Dixon came over and after a 20 pack of buds and a few hours of work this is what we ended up with. Let me know what you think. I'm pretty pleased with the results.

I like 'em, very similar to the ones on my Capri.

  5. Looks great! One of my favorite cars! I think I would add one to the rear wheelwell, with the point coming off the top of the wheelwell to match the front. (my .02)

Thanks for all the kind words guys! It was my first time doing any paint work like this so it was a little nerve racking.

Sweet ride!! I had to see what rustydusty's idea would look like. Here's a quick Photoshop job.

Now you guys got me thinking hard about doing the rear also. There is some goofy pinstriping on the hood and tailgate so I need to think of something clever to do. Thanks for all the motivation, hopefully I'll post some more shots on monday if I do anything else.

Looks great! I think I would do the rear too, but, make the "tails" coming off the scallop along the body line a bit longer on both...

you're on the right track , but a little professional fine tuning would'nt hurt . Drive it by and I'll lay a little tape on it for you NC.

    Very Nice!

The addition of the rear scallops will make an already outstanding Ranchero even sweeter.
