    Hi Guys!

New Girl here!! I'm brand new to the H.A.M.B, and domestic sleds... but I've been working on and collecting cars since I was 14. Currently I own about 11ish cars. Which are mostly old slammed VW's, and the newest addition to my collection, a 1954 Chevy 210.

I just picked up the 210 last Tuesday. At the moment it doesn't run (but it will with a little love and a rebuild kit for the starter)

My plan is to embrace the patina, get it running, and lower it enough to where I won't get nosebleeds when I drive it..

Alright enough about me, here's some pictures...

    And the new Chevy...
The night I brought it home...

    (note the chalky paint..)

and what it looked like at the end of today... I had to remove some spray paint from the driver's side, and I cleaned up the rest of the car with oven cleaner...

Notice that it is not pink anymore.. Look at the left side versus the right side...

I'm actually gonna be swapping out of the single cab. The beetle will also be at the show.

Hopefully I can get the Chevy rollin' for Billetproof..

Just started tearing into the starter rebuild yesterday.

Thanks... I didn't think the red could come out as cool as it is so far... hopefully my trunk lid rattle can magic will blend in with it. The car was originally green..

    Thanks for the welcome guys!

After putting the starter back in, replacing the fuel pump, and removing and replacing the carburetor after cleaning it, I got to hear her run for the first time...

It's like the light at the end of the tunnel...

Now all I need is: an alternator, thermostat, cooling hoses, gear oil, oil, tires, and brakes. Aside from that it's all detail and cosmetic tweaking... and LOWERING when I get the $$$..

Guess it's time for a build thread.

Welcome from Tampa. I'm an old friend of Dans, from the Sebring days. Happy to see y'all getting invoked with the American machines. I miss my old v-dubs, a lot. Hope to see y'all soon. When ya have time, do a thread search for a T-5 tranny / open driveline conversion for '49-'54 chevy cars. It'll make high way travels SOOO much better. Cheers!
