I just picked up a 53 150 also, how many extra teeth are you going to run? I just bought 4 extra for mine along with new front and rear California bumpers.

I installed 9 teeth in the grille. I started at the middle of the center hole and made a mark every 4 1/8 inches ....Drilled on each mark with a 1/2 bit and installed the teeth.. Ill have to weld up the original holes on the left and right because they are no longer needed....

I bought repop 56 clipper lenses. I made some patterns out of cardboard to transfer to sheet metal to make a housing and outer frame to weld to the quarters.. I didnt want to spend 400 and up for original housing just to cut up and french in...This might take a while to finish....

    Brian,
I lowered my 53 with Posie's rear leaf's and lowering blocks. Your 53 looks much lower.
The front of my car hits on everything,..it's got dropped uprights, and shorter coils, similar to what your going to run.
If I could do it again, I would bag the car.

The pumpkin hit the trunk floor pan as you said in an earlier post.
I had to make a new floor in my 53, and bent up a crude "housing" to clear for travel.

    and my 53:

  16. What did you use to remove the ribs? I need to remove mine also. It looks good!

  17. Dig the build. I used chassis engineering parallel rear leafs/s-10/blocks out back and mII w 2 in dropped spindles and 1 1/2 coils cut from front. gonna roll pretty bad ass. watchin and waitin

I ground out the spot welds with a grinding rock so i didnt leave a hole in the firewall from drilling, and worked it loose with an air hammer...
