well hec i have searched for the past week for some fuel tank ideals. This is going in a open top roadster where the fuel tank could be exposed so what do you guys got that wont break the bank looking for something around 15 to 20 gallon I have seen air tanks, kegs, square tank oval tanks new tanks and old tanks. But I have not found any thing that has the look that i am going for for the price that is right. I would like something military looking maybe. Any thoughts or hec maybe we could make this like a roadster fuel tank picture thread maybe?? Any help for this newbie would be great thanks.
why would the fuel tank be exposed, even if its in a roadster? assuming its a model A... most people mount a model T gas tank in the trunk if they arent using the stock gas tank up in the cowl.
the issue that i am running in to is that with frame being zed in the rear and such sort wheel base i believe that the fuel cell will set in side the cargo area of the ride. here is a pic of the cargo area
