Event Coverage Seattle to LA and back in a 1940 Ford custom-GNRS

My dad just got back from driving his 1940 Ford custom from Seattle to L.A.(Pomona) for the GNRS with it's all stock 1940 Ford running gear and the two dogs.

Getting ready...oil change, adding defrost tubes, etc.



Building the back seat with blankets for the dogs.

That's awesome, you gotta be proud of your pop. I was just thinking about how shitty it was getting stuck in the rpu in that downpour Sunday night getting out of the GNRS. Then I read this post. I'm a weenie.

Your dad rocks! What an awesome trip that must have been. Our boring drive from LA to Phoenix in a Scion couldn't have been over sooner. Gotta do it in a hot rod and enjoy the ride next time.
