Thanks for all of the photos! You certainly have good taste when choosing which cars to take photos of and post I was at the show on Thurs/Fri/Sat, would've been cool to meet you --- maybe next year! Malcolm
Thanx for the cool pics. I wonder why the Busonic was parked next to that 80s lookin truck...or maybe its the otherway around....still, doesnt make sense. The Busonic is one of the cars i'd give a nut to sit inside.
This was one of the best at the 1999 GNRS at the cow palace. Harry Bradley designed including the tail lights. Dave Crook (I believe) build. loved the flush set side moulding and the Dash included outside rear view mirrors on the inside of the A pillers.
that 80's lookin truck was built around '59 or '60 it's Mox Miller's dads apache....that used to tow Mox's impala to the shows....
Thats the infamous "Trendaro", found dirty but more or less intact in a midwest body shop about 20 yrs ago Just did a search on "Trendaro" Believe it or not, there is only ONE THREAD that I got a hit on, but there are photos.
Its amazing so many customs have survived more or less intact. The thing that probably saved them was that nobody wanted anything to do with them from the late sixties on, so unlike a lot of iconic hot rods from the period, they didnt get "re-done" in the seventies/eighties.
Very nice pictures, and cars! In fear of having missed something elementary from Customs 101, can anyone enlighten me on this?
The round up of Customs is awesome.Kurt McCormick must have had a truck just for his cars. Did Zocchi clone his original 62 GP?
I see, but it could at least have diffrent shoes put on, if nothion else just for the show. Anyways, bitchin about 1 or 2 rides dont make much sense considerin all of the amazing cars that were insde.
