Hi! I"m Bruce, a 60 year young contractor with a love for old cars...since high school. My username is 53woody. I told my wife I bought the 53 Chevy project truck as a business expense. It has been an EXPENSE! But as of yet it has not been down the road a mile, or made me a nickel. The truck is 90% done. I made a wooden cap to carry my tools, in the style of a woody, with light and dark stain. My real pride and joy is a 34 Ford 3window, that I bought as just a body and original frame. The car was a survivor of its day, as a dirt track jalopy. Most of the work was done in my garage with the help of friends. I look forward to seeing as many posts and pictures as possible. I hope to meet some local H.A.M.B.ers who love to drive and put some miles on! Pictures to come of the 34.

Hey Bruce do you go to the Flea Market/Car show in May at the fairgrounds? I'm counting the days till this year's. I've got a '51 International and a homemade pseudo military truck cab in the works, my old man's got a 62 and 64 fleetside Chevs--we'll have to get together when it's warmer.

Thanks for the reply. I do go to the Flea Market every year. But I'm leaving for Florida in two weeks my thoughts are on Old Town, Webster and Zephyrhills Flea Markets. I,m just 5 minutes from the Dunkirk Fairgrounds so stop by and I'll show my stuff!! Bruce
