    3 inch lowering blocks n removed a leaf, and it has raised shock towers in the front

    Gotta love these little cars. Here's ours, it's a 63 with a small block, ram air, 9", C-4 and all kinds of neat little goodies.

    Here's an interesting photo for you Falcon lovers , the story goes he blew the engine and made it half way through the swap on the side of the freeway before the police moved him along ....

    i could see doing that (here) when the roads were less congested, and the drivers didn't have twelve dozen distracting techno devices to keep their eyes off the road! the cops weren't so worried about him doing the swap as they were about him getting plastered by a carload of teenyboppers on cell phones or a soccer mom in a SUV!

    he looks like he knew what he was doing, though. i don't know where he was carrying a spare engine AND a hoist in a Falcon (HA!).....

    I've still got a set of four-lug lightweight slotted aluminum wheels for Comets/Falcons if anyone is interested... Just sayin'.

    got any pics of the underside? how did you do the rear and what size wheel and tire combo were you running and offset?:eek:

    sorry no tech pics., rear had dearched springs with bags, wheels were 17" with 3 1/2" offset.

    I just found the article about your old falcon 2 days ago. I was lookin for Tuff enuff merc and found that.
    I think is bad ass in every aspect but the wheels. Do you still have it?
