Been tough to get out to the shop with all the snow but I'm putting together a new motor for the coupe. 283, .030 over, 10/1 CR, Comp Cam, powerpack heads, three Stromberg 48's.

No heat in the barn, I'm on hold. Too cold to play with sub-freezing steel.

Replaced timing cover seal. Hoping to get some brake upgrades started soon. Shoveling, coughing, sneezing, hacking, the usual for this time of year.........

Slowly sorting through stuff stored in the garage and basement to make work space for the projects. Pile A goes in the wood stove, Pile B is for the Scrap Yard, Pile C goes to the dump, Pile D gets a shot at eBay, if it doesn't sell it goes in Pile A,B or C.

Always something to do. Doesn't take long to heat up the shop. New carb and a few other mods lately. Just can't help but tinker.

Tonight I installed 3.55 gears in the 8 inch thats in my 37 Chevy p/u,the gears that came out will replace the noisey gears that are in my 55 sunliner. The 55 is going to get a cam change after the gears are installed, the nimrod that built the 351-W for me did not put a RV grind cam in like I requested and stuck one in that starts doing its job at 2500 RPMs and thats not good for a tall geared highway cruiser.
