Where'd you get the drag link? I could use one that looks like that.

The pitman arm and drag link are from Dennis Carpender
reproductions in concord n.c. . Had to extend it 14 inches .It is for a 53-56 f-100. Why is it you can find coloums and boxes , but when people remove them do they throw the pitman arm away ?

Period perfect profile.............no chop w/channel. The Caddy V8 puts it over the top.

Nice x member ,I did mine the same way but heavier ,Rear radius rods also / That will keep the motor and trans to the center of the frame more and you can tuck up your exhaust ,Slick move.....Looking great ebay pics 410.jpg just a rear shot I also have 2 in front ,You might want to consider that A true x has no flex

Yes there is a piano in my shop. It can be yours.

If you really want rid of the piano, Klutz (sp?) Bros Piano's in Salisbury buys, refinishes and sells pianos. They may take it and give you something for it.

My wife and exwife both bought refinished pianos there.

One of my biggest pet peeves with model a's and other cars that have been channeled is a lot of them the radiator shell is higher than the cowl. This is pics of my new radiator and channeled 31 radiator shell , It is not mounted to the rad. and will need to be raised up a little , I think it is a little low as it is. I will also channel the 32 commercial shell I have and will be able to swap them and completely change the look of the coupe in just a few minutes.

Looks like you had to lengthen the Model A frame a bit to get the Caddy to fit without butchering the firewall. What, about 4 or 5 inches added to the frame?

I went from the 103 wheel base to 107. That is with the rear axle about 1" forward from stock. I will get some pics. of the rear radius rods and mounts on here today.

Keep in mind this is not all hard welded yet . The radius rods will be triangulated and have a top mount similar to ladder bars when completed.

Looking good Tommy!! I normally like the Wheel bases at the stock measurement but your's looks good. I think it's because it's not chopped so the whole thing doesn't look really squashed and long ya know?

I also like how you ran the two rear lines to two rubber lines. On my '35 I did the two hard lines down the wishbones but I am putting them to a brass "Y" junction block and then to only one rubber line out through the frame to the MC. The catch is that I cannot find a damn "Y" they are all "T's"!!!! I think I have a line on one but the two rubber lines is a nice option.

the A shell doesnt look bad by any means but I think the duece shell is where its at!

but really though, its that 55 caddy steering wheel that sets it off!!!

I'm gonna run the same wheel in my 54, but damn its a lot of work though!
I've gotta splice my steering shaft because of the difference in splines...

but looking good aint always easy:D

looks great Tommy, keep it up!!!
