    what about leaving the car stock since the car last night at Russo and Steele just went for 175K and then do my other gasser car just like I built this plastic model car but slightly different engine?not sure yet

    Congrats on your new find. As for what to do with this car, it seems to me a part of owning these cars is maintaining their history be it stocker or race car. In this case it appears your new find being a stocker is it's history.

    90% of the competitive gassers had the whole cowl cut completely off and a piece of sheet metal riveted in for the firewall.

    Factory firewalls and cowls are for stockers and street rods.

    Is this the one the guy in Hershey has been trying to sell for the last 3 years? Has been on eBay at least twice and was at the Hersey meet last year?

    1941 Willys Coupe, all steel, original 4 cylinder motor and 3 speed transmission, complete except interior. Rust in lower body, around rear window frame, lower trunk lid and bottom of doors. Additional pictures available on request. ALSO S-10 Chevy rolling chassis includes Ford 9" rearend, with 454 Chevy motor and 400 transmission.

    No Titles, will provide Bill of Sale if requested.

    Package price for both = $15,500.00 or Best Offer.

    I passed on a complete 37 coupe in the 80's for $1500.00 , been kicking myself ever since , DUMB , DUMB , DUMB . But I did finally got the 31 model a coupe that my uncle left with at parents house for many years (that I played in pretending to drive it )until my uncle came and took it to kansas . Not a willys but hey , it's mine .

    lol It's too bad the price changed while I was on my way to get the car huh?I had so much trouble and stress getting the car and driving home through weather that you could not see 5 foot In front of you that the car wont be sold If I was offered 50K right now.big rig diesels were passing us then wrecking off to the side of the road I about lost my dually and the coupe 10 times.heres a pic.actually very lucky to be alive.

    I was fortunate to get the Hot Rod Willys sold to a super guy with an awesome collection. No, I did not get $99k, but when I sold the car he traded me, and the car that was traded on the trade-in, I ended up with $98.5k. And the fun of the build, the shows and the racing is priceless.

    and last, but not least, the friends and fellow Willys-lovers I met is invaluable.

    sounds great Bob I know what You mean I talk with a few fellow willys lovers all the time and they are cool people.I now have 2 coupes,1 truck,and a 40 sedan.so my collection continues to grow about every week now.
