Anybody else. Heck most of you guys have it. I've had it for years. Just opened www.OldCarDisease.com . Right now it is for stories about your case of OCD. Let me know if you have any suggestions about where we can take this.

My wife calls it crappycaritis.

 

its not officially a disease yet just a syndrome.

I'm not sure I have it, just a minor neurosis, kind of like those people who end up living in a one room apt with a thousand cats. Actually I may be comming down with the cat thing also.

I am absolutely that my wife has it.

Dude, I come here to get my daily (hourly) meds for my old car disease.

 

Not looking for a cure cause the wife has it too & now one of my sons who showed up a while back with a Trailer Queen 53 Ford 2dr Flatty 8. So it is contagious ! They are starting to sprout around here. If any one wants a remedy try my Last X wife

 

I will absolutely guarantee you guys that there is NO cure, Tried a few times, its an "in the blood" thing. Might just as well accept it and start gathering all the tin you can find..

 

Getting in a few Old Car Disease shirts and hats. Anyone interested? Gonna start with a hundred each and see what happens.

I too am afflicted with this disease...have been for a few decades now. The only treatment I have found is to buy another old car. That seems to make the symptoms go away for a while....

As long as you get a couple 3xl's for us guys who's diets are working about as good as that plan to cut down on the old cars.... I'll take one.

 

I had to attend an OCD support group on Saturday nite, Many poor unfortunate souls like myself, we wallowed in our shameful addiction all nite, and shared stories and BS about our "coping mechanisms".

I have no idea what you guys are referring to. I don't smoke, drink, take drugs, or have sex with wild women. ...Or tame ones lately! Don't play golf or care for any other sports. Old cars don't interest me one bit.
I will not admit to anything.
I only check in here for the old pictures of days gone by to see the sexy female models.

 

Living in Canada and not driving the car from Nov to Apr...I get withdrawals. I sit on the couch, watch TV and get fat! I need methadone...or maybe I should have a V8!

 

I thought this was normal and all the other people were screwed up.

 

A sure sign of Old Car Disease is an over inflated wallet.
Empty your wallet and the disease will gradually disappear.

 

I think you are mistaken. Having this so called illness keeps my wallet empty!

 

With the government being shut down like it is I wouldnt count on that check coming any time soon...
