Howdy all, My name is Daryl and I'm a married 30-something that was raised on old Chevies and long midwest winters in the garage. My Dad got me hooked early on and now I hope to continue this hobby until I can't drive anymore. I dig anybody who does things with their hands, creates things, and have a can-do attitude when it comes to solving problems. I'm from Chicago burb's but now live in Peoria, Illinois and currently working on reviving a '47 Chevy Fleetline sedan with my Pops that we hope to have running this spring after sitting since 1974. She's mostly original with a few period accessories that we got working. I've also owned a '64 Bel Air, '55 Olds Super 88, and I have 'most' of a '46 Willys CJ2A but the tub was garbage so that's a project for another day. After prowling this forum for great advice and reading up on everyone's cool builds...I broke down and signed up for an account of my own . What a great site and I hope to continue learning and sharing stories of projects my wife lets me drag home.
