James, I used 55 chevy station wagon springs in mine. Look in classifieds for 55 chevy street gasser. Thanks,Wayne

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228888 Here's a thread on '55 Gassers. Have fun. Where you from Old Skool?
James, I used '66 Chevelle big block w/AC front springs. Handled the weight well. Might be too much if you aren't running B/B though.
i love the 56 i had two of them and im still kickin myself for selling them. Very nice car i like to see cars like this. thanks james
This is mine 55 chevy townsman. On the picture it stands on jacks. But i can load up some more pictures. Soon if you are interested. Real nice 65
My first car back in 1968. Tallest TRW springs I could find(I think they were for a 62 Chevy wagon HD front springs?) and a set of upper ball joint spacers. Look through this thread. You'll find a number of cars with stock A-arm front ends. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228888
I'm working on this one right now. Just finishing up a Vega steering box install, getting ready to replace the wooden block suspension with Moroso springs and ball joint spacers. Then it'll be time to rig up radiator mounts. Larry T
