Thanks to Cody at Hurst racing tires my car looks like a gasser now!

    I got my slicks on Saturday, and man am I happy with them! 28 x 8.50 with the cheater groove and they fit my radiused quarters beautifully!!

    My wheels will be here Thursday, halibrand look-a-likes for the back and ET IV slotted mags for the front. I just couldn't wait to see them on the car so I took a tire off and set one in place!

    Thats gasser looking all right .I dig the radiused wheel openings .Always thought all 55's should came that way ,not just the Nomads ...

    Fenderwell headers will be here Thursday if UPS tracking is correct. :D


    I hope to wrap up bodywork and have it in paint in the next 45 days, then reassembly!

    Is Cody still around? I'll be needing some new tires soon and the last time I looked the Hurst tire website was gone. Anyone know if he's back up and running?

    As this thread was started in 2011, any chance you can put some pics up, of the car, which I would assume finished by now?
    Then I see you haven't been here since the start of this year.
