This is such sad news. I knew Bill only briefly while we were working on the history of Roamer Racing equipment, which he was quite interested in. He did not hesitate to share his knowledge and was so enthusiastic.

Heres some pictures for everybody's memory banks of Bill's modified. Many homemade parts on this one, like the spinner hub caps, which he had cast and designed after the early Edmunds logo.

Bill, you will be missed. I only wish we could have met in person.

Very sad news indeed. We had done much bench racing and trading of a thing or two over the years. He was a HUGE Mercury fan - and a prince of a man. He gave me crap when I needed it - (which was often) and was a good friend as well. I will miss you my friend - hope there are many hot rodders and lots of cool iron where you are today. RIP.

Very sorry to hear that. For obvious reasons, he was one of the more enthusiastic supporters of the lakes modified website I ran for a little while there.

Sorry to hear this. I went to his house one time and bought some parts from him. Great guy and loved flatheads and early olds stuff like me.
