I started a Dodge A100 group for fans and owners of the A100 van and pick-ups http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=605
Bump from a fellow early van owner and lover! How about starting a picture thread?? You guys need one bad!!! BloodyKnuckles
Meatball is that a t-shirt design? Where can I get one? I cant tell what the name is behind the vans...
No idea,I had in in a file on vans...odds are it came from the hamb............come to think about it if I can figure it out I would buy one also,I will see if I can figure it out,MAYBE it came from the friday art show
Thanks for liking my art. All the vectors and high res files for that are locked up on an external drive that crashed on me. I need to send it out for recovery if I ever get money to do it. Nope it was not ever made into a t-shirt. They were design studies of possibilities for an A-100 van I was chasing after this summer that didn't end up happening.
Here's mine- a 64 Dodge a100 pickup. Slant 6, auto- was my grandfather's until he handed it down to me. It needs some work to get it roadworthy again, but its in good hands.
I'm sorting my A108 at the moment , the pic is when i first went to see it, I'll take some pics of what i've done to it soon Those wheels were the first thing to go !
I just bought some A-100's. but, they're only 2 inches long. http://www.truckstopmodels.com/ brand new 1/87 scale (ho scale) models by brekina, and available in the US from Truckstop models. If you're eyes are good enough, you'll be able to make out the Dodge emblem on the dog dish hubcap. The pictures on the link show them in much larger than actual size. Theres a panel van with no side doors in white, in red, and in yellow, and window vans in blue and in turquoise. Except for the yellow they appear to be factory colors. Some have white bumpers and some have chrome bumpers. Beautiful detail and proportion considering the 2" long size (much smaller than Hot Wheels which are 1/64 scale).
My a100 project... Almost road ready then will start on the body and paint. Triangulated 4 link front and rear with air ride. Going to body drop 4.5" so it will lay body on astro supremes. And a Watsen inspired panel paint is planned.
KSNPVMT, Any shots and info on that front? I checked your older posts and you mentioned axle mods to clear the front of the engine and a couple thoughts on locating the axle. What was the final build? Are you going to have to section the wheelwell and door like Coby, or are the lil rims and tires going to clear?
