My heart aching for you man. I'm at a loss for words but I am so so very sorry. My prayers for you and your family.
Loosing one child is the worst thing I can think of...and I speek from my own loss of my 14 year old son over 20 years ago. I'd like to say it will get better, but I'm sorry, but it doesn't. You have to concentrate on the good times and shared experiences. There are several of us here who would be happy to talk off line, if you would like PM me.
I am sorry for your loss..my son is my best friend too. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm saddened for your loss JD. I'm standing at the kitchen counter typing this as my two children sit in front of my in the living room. I think I'll log off and spend some time with them now.
Take care brother....Use the memories of the good times to get you through the tough times. No one can take your memories from you. Take the time you need to get you and your family through this difficult times. Just thank god that you had such a close relationship with him for the time you had him. Be strong and use you your cars & guitars as an outlet to keep the connection with him. celebrate his life, it'll get you through the pain. God bless man

Praying for you and your family in this time of grief. My daughters are close to your son's age. I'm thankful that you and your son were close and enjoyed such a good relationship. I can only imagine how much you cherish the memories of those long conversations.
