What frame did you put under it? Chop 4" in the front 5" in the back that would look killer!

If you can't see out you cut too much.

  5. yep, start at 4 in the front and 5 or 6 in the back, that'll be a moderate chop. set the roof back on and eyeball it. you can always trim more untill it looks right to you.

I think we r all in agreement 4 in the front 5-6 in the rear is perfect on those cars

4 inches front and back with all the posts left in place and not pulled in..7inch stretch front/back and 1.5inch side/side, pain in the ass but worth it in my opinion!

i know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. with all due respect, IMHO stretching the roof makes the flow into the rear window a bit 'awkward'.

chevy54 your car is sick!!! I stretched the roof on mine but its a coupe so the final result is way different.

like i said, eye of the beholder. that's a very nicely finished car, much nicer than my cars. as long as you like it that's all that matters, right?

Yeah thats definitely a sweet car. I personally prefer an unstretched roof myself.

I much prefer the same amount out front and back. Looks more muscular to me. Hard to go wrong following either of these leads here. The stretched roof is very cool.

Cool thread, the example I like best is---the one I am viewing at the time, ass-kicken Chevys bros. Ventura county rules, miss it a lot, lived in Santa Barabara ten years, oh well. Carry on cats, good luck wih your cut JVK54. Just do it ~sololobo~
