I recently acquired this 54 S100 with factory automatic tranny. I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet. It may go under the knife.

Here's my junk. '57 A100 Golden Anniversary with 240 six and 3 on the tree. Just a driver...having fun wrenching as I go. Looking for an R10 or R11 Borg Warner OD so I can go down the road.

Did you pick that one up in Emmett? I have been watching an identical truck in Boise valley craigslist.

There was a Golden Jubilee bed listed here locally awhile back.

    Thanks for that!

I did. Seller steadily kept dropping the price for months, then we haggled some more until one of us gave in!

I wouldn't mind having a Golden Jubilee bed if I ran across one for the right price. I do enjoy the look of the stepside...thinking of ditching the steps...thoughts? Definitely gonna ditch the mirrors.

Makes me think of the Clint Eastwood Movie, Grand Torino.. when he is sitting on the porch looking at his car

If you haven't seen it , I won't spoil it, great movie !

I just picked up one of these too. I LOVED my 59 F100 for eight years but I outgrew it with kids. Been shopping for a crew cab for quite a while now and finally found a runner. Where these military or farm or just regular dealership options as crewcabs?

wow. quick answer. Thanks! I've not driven mine yet as it needs some lines replaced for safetly. I had a 69 travelall that drove like a lawn tractor about ten years ago. I'm assuming this will be a similar ride but I'm diggin the truck so far. I had a 345 in the travelall and this one has an inline six and a four on the floor.

I just bought a 53 L-110 and its in pretty good cond. I have the body totally disassembled and have everything blasted ready for body work it is sitting on a s-10 chassis with a small block and 700r4 trans really hard to find parts but that makes it a challenge don't have any pics yet but it sits low and cool. good luck to all you guys building these way to cool trucks Grego56

Most of them around here were Air Force, Forrest service, railroad or highway department but anyone could buy a new one.

Heres my 54 r110, chopped 4 inches out of it, squirted it with some Harley Orange, and did the typical mouse motor thing.
It used to be my Grandpas truck, It came stock with an auto trans..

I need to replace the wheels on my 62 4x4 with one piece wheels. I am scared of the split rims. Anybody got a set they wanna sell?
