I've got a 49 in progress. Right now it is a pile of parts but maybe someday it will be lowered about 3" with a '71 460 and a 4 speed top loader. Someday

Here is my F1 project. There are a few guys following my build, by stopping by my profile page once in a while. I have just put an album together on my profile that is a tech. of sorts for the adjustment of the bed strips. Just open the first picture and read the caption, then click for the next picture, read, and so on...... Hope it helps.

  13. I always wondered what happened to mine after I sold it. It went to bakersfield. Anyone seen a chopped and channeled 50 F-1 like the one under my name over there<--It was flat black when I sold it.

This "The Goon Wagon". Our F-1 wheelchair accessible project that we are building for my 17 year old son [The Goon, here on the HAMB]. The last pic is his idea of how he wants the finished product to look.

It is a slow process but we hope to have it done by this summer for his 18th birthday.

Krazy your f1 is sick. Very much like I hope mine to be when finished. How did you get it so low?

Been gathering up parts/pieces and doing bodywork. :(
The progress has been SLOW ... I am having to learn about these trucks. I am a 32 Ford guy and have 32 Ford experince and a stash of 32 Ford parts. Not much Ford truck spares.

I have a Jaguar XJ6 IFS, a 2001 Explorer 3.73 31 spline POSI rear end a SBC/700R4 already for the project. Just need to get motivated and BUSY.

    .

  23. I just picked up a 52 panel, I can't wait to get started on it.

This is our 51 F1 I built for my son who is 3 1/2. We take it to local car shows/runs and have a great time with it. It has a MII front end and a T-bird rear IRS, 351W with chevyEFI and full ride control by AccuAir. Great truck to drive and it will stay as is until my son is old enough to work on it with me.

This was a 43k mile truck that went in a barn in 61 and came out in 07 when we bought it. Full build is here http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/815556-lfds-51-f1-suspension-build.html
