I.D. this axle please, and...

    I got this axle and a 30 Chevy radiator and grill from the same guy, he said it was a Chevy axle. It sure looks like the one under my 26 T roadster. And I'd like to use it on a different Model T. Still has a wheel hub on one side, looks like the kind for a wood wheel. I'm sure it was used as a trailer axle at one time. What is it from?
    Once that's answered, how can I use these 16 inch Ford rims on it? Brakes arent an issue at this time, just want to mount the rims on it...

    i have the same axle. I just picked it up for 40 bucks rims, axle, spindles, springs. but from center of king pin to center of king pin it is 52 inches and i think mine was under a trailer to. oh and they ran leaf springs like on a trailer. My ? is how do you hook up the breaks lol.
