Hey Reb its Woody from the Devils Den. Look down on the floorboard on the drivers side. I know that old Dodges hadem there.
Lets' see what my book says, usually they're on the right side door post at the cowl on this era Mopar. Well, for 1934 it says "same location" .. so for 1933 it says front right door hinge pillar post. Which is what I thought. The ones I have seen are riveted on, an aluminum tag with black background and silver bar for the numbers, about 3" long and 3/4" or so tall (technically it's 3" tall since they mount sideways). So if you have a couple small holes about 3" apart, it's gone. So if you need the number info for the 1934 serial number range let me know.
thanks for the info guys. looks like someone may have it hanging on their garage wall or something. I'll figure something out. welcome back woody
I think the passenger door post is probably accurate. On my 47 Plymouth, the same number that appeared on the original engine is stamped into the frame, on the outer side, in an area beside the left rear wheel. Probably need to do some wire brushing to uncover it. Don't know if they did it the same way in 34, but on a 47 Mopar the engine number appeared on the title, plus the frame, and the tag on the door post is a totally different set of numbers.
