Over the weekend I bought a program from the 1953 Indianapolis Auto show. This picture was in it without any kind of caption or identification. Anybody know anything about this car?

Ah yes, it appears to be the original Penisaurus Rex.
Comes in many different lengths and colors.
    Black ones are the longest.

That woman is in clear violation of the Do Not Touch policy. I demand she be apprehended and submitted to a strip search.

Not a car; that is the prototype of the famous Howard Hughes brassier, and the young lady is slithering down into it.

I've seen pics of the car - but my memory fails to come up with an ID - obviously a custom - pretty sure those are Zephyr grille pieces. Could be Link trainer for a Lockheed F-80 or a tubal lenticular obfuscator - ¿quien sabe?

It reminds me of a 3-wheeler that was presented as a car of the future in the 1970's... it was at Hershey this year.

  9. It looks like she is standing on the floor under the shell of the vehicle. I don't think it has a chassis under it.

I seem to recall it being a rear engined 3 wheeler, but the builder escapes me. There was a writeup in the old little rod books way back, but I don't have it any more.

I don't know about the car but the babe looks like "Dagmar", for whom Cadillac bumpers were named.

That's it, looks like the picture was taken in the same location, first picture is better.
