Be sure to bring some comfortable boots and extra pairs of socks..........the grass field tends to be wet & muddy.

Yep, most any "deals" will have already been sold, and moved to another space with the price jacked up

If you're looking for something in particular, and are willing to pay top dollar, you might find it. If you're looking for good deals, you might come home with nothing but a fuel bill

turlockswapmeet.com for info ---- as with most swaps big deals made nite before in set up staging area or way before the Sun comes up (doesn't come up early, if at all, in Turlock) . This is the biggest and the best in Northern Calif, so don't miss it. yes, there are other big swaps later in the year, but this one has true history.

Turlock Saturday, back home for GNRS on Sunday.

The only thing I see that is destroying the Turlock swap meet, is that every year there are more empty spaces that have been paid for and kept by families that don't show up and then there are the people that show up in a space they keep, bring the RV and bbq, but don't sell anything. It seems last year that about 30% of the spaces in the north field had no parts for sale in them. It's pretty sad when you hear about all the people who have trailer loads of parts they want to sell, but sometimes wait 3 years to get a space. I say, bring parts to sell or lose your space.

lol, this happened to me last year. I spent $80 for a Wassell Tank that had heavy surface rust for my motorcycle and thought I got a good deal because they usually run for $100-150 on ebay around the same condition. later through the dau i saw a friend selling some stuff at the meet. He saw me holding the tank and asked how much I paid for it. And then he told me he sold that exact tank to the guy I bought it from that morning for $20.
